Method
Warm toast against cool labneh gives the best texture. Briefly toast the walnuts and add sumac at the end to keep its tang and color. Cucumber and tomato make it a fuller plate.

Dry-toast walnuts for 2 minutes and chop them.

Toast the bread until crisp and golden.

Spread each slice generously with labneh.

Scatter over walnuts, sumac and pepper.
